Carrie Neri
Carrie & Keisha Carrie has been involved in the sport of canine musical freestyle since 1998. She and her dogs (Keisha, Australian Shepherd, Hannah and Callaway, mini aussies, and Ortiz, Papillon) compete in Freestyle competitions, however most of their performances are for entertainment at fund raisers, rescue events, schools and occasional parties and black tie affairs.
Carrie and her dogs have also performed for a few TV stories about musical freestyle including appearances on Pet Talk, Nick@Nite Roadcrew Show, Pass It On and The Daily Show on Comedy Central. They have been featured in books, newspapers and magazies.They were recently featured in an article on-line for the Hartford Courant.
Carrie and her dogs also compete in flyball and toss and fetch and freestyle frisbee. Her 12 yr old (now retired) Australian Shepherd Keisha also performed flyball demos at half time shows for the Harlem Globtrotters.
Carrie and her furry friends are members of Donna Duford’s Top Hat and Tails Dance Troupe, The Unleashed Dance Company, The World Canine Freestyle Organization (WCFO), the Connecticut Frequent Flyers Flyball Team and the Yankee Flyers Dog and Disc Club.
