Laurel Rabschutz Laurel, Gus, & Rollo 
Laurel has been involved with the sport of canine musical freestyle with her Newfies since 1994. Although they have earned top placements in competitions, they primarily perform in support of fund raising and charitable efforts for various humane organizations, schools, hospitals, and public education event. Freestyle career highlights include: First dog of any breed to pass the freestyle proficiency test Top placements in regional, national, and international competition. - Winner of High Artistic
Merit for both freestyle and heelwork to music- Highly regarded instructor of freestyle
- Created and performed over 50 routines; individual, pairs & team
- Featured on CNN, Animal Planet, the Today Show, Nick@Nite and numerous local television shows
- Written about in Parade Magazine, Dog World, The NY Times, AKC Gazette, The Whole Dog Journal, Maclean’s, and numerous local newspapers
- Use of freestyle as an activity for persons partnered with assistance dogs
- Participated in the raising of hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable organizations
