Laurie Sullivan and her Golden Retrievers, Timber and Bowie, have been active in freestyle competitions and demonstrations since 2004. Laurie and her dogs have earned numerous dog dancing titles and have taken home top honors at regional, national and international competitions, including awards for High Technical Merit, High Artistic Merit, and High Combined scores in Canine Musical Freestyle and Heelwork to Music. Timber and Laurie earned their dog dancing Championship title in 2006. In addition, Laurie and her dogs have earned multiple awards in recognition of the strong bond they share when they are dancing together.

Laurie and her dogs have danced their way across a TV screen many times, and have been featured on Animal Planet's "Dancing with Dogs," the Rachael Ray Show, Fox News, the Today Show, Nick@Nite, the CBS evening news and local television programs.   They also appeared on PBS/Nature's documentary, "Why We Love Cats And Dogs," about the human/animal bond.  Laurie and her boys have been featured in a number of publications, newspapers and magazines. Timber’s and Bowie’s charisma, enthusiasm and constant tail-wagging have earned them “interviews” with reporters at competitions across the United States.

Laurie and her dogs get their greatest enjoyment from making people smile at demonstrations and fundraisers, from nursing homes to animal she lter fundraisers to pet expos.  When they are not dancing, Timber and Bowie enjoy working as certified therapy dogs with troubled and abused children, hiking and playing in their yard.

Laurie and her boys are members of the World Canine Freestyle Organization, the Unleashed Dance Company and Therapy Dogs International.
